From Malaga airport, take the N348 and head towards San Miguel Brewery following signs for N340 Malaga. Take the exit N340 marked Motril/Almeria and follow the motorway to the end at Torrox.
Take the N340A to Almeria, a road which takes you along the beachfront, and skirts around Nerja and Almunecar until you drop down to see the town of Salobrena.
When you have crossed the Rio Guadalfeo river look out for the exit for Granada N323. Turn right at the sign for Velez Benaudalla.
Soon after this you will come across another sign Bubion, Villa Turistica A346 where you need to turn left. This road snakes along the edge of the valley until you can see the town of Orgiva to the left.
Carry on through the tunnel and straight up the hill on A348 to Torviscon. You will pass a sign for Tablones, and then for Puerto Jubiley on your left. Approx 1km further on, you will see a new bridge on a sweeping bend, with a beautiful old bridge behind. There is a track on your right before you cross the bridge, which leads to the farmhouse and casita.
Take this turn and park in front of the fig tree.
